A unique feature in DXp-40
and LCp-104 instrumentation allows
system operation to continue even if load cell(s) fail or cables are
inadvertently cut. No one ever plans a load cell failure or a
forklift accident that damages cables or cable conduit. But these things
happen. Now with degrade mode, you’re covered for these and other
unforeseen scenarios.
Degrade mode begins by electronically profiling each system load cell during normal operation. Then, if an accident/failure occurs, just tell the DXp-40/LCp-104 which cell(s) is non-functional. Electronic profiles for the cells in question are then substituted for the erroneous signals being received. Substitute signals (profiles) are added to "live" signals from the remaining good cell(s) and operation continues accordingly.
