G4 instruments measure up to eight independent weighing systems – tanks, hoppers, reactors, floor scales – simultaneously. Each system can be completely unrelated to any other. Ethernet, DeviceNet, Profibus, and Modbus interfaces allow easy communication of all weight and operating data with any hierarchy DCS or PLC device. Available technology provides high speed, 800 updates/second, data acquisition for each channel.

We Just Put On a Whole New InterFACE!

BLH is pleased announce the addition of DeviceNet protocol to our Easy Digital Interface capabilities. This non-proprietary interface protocol is gaining tremendous acceptance at industrial installations worldwide. On July 18, 2000 Rockwell Automation announced that the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) had adopted DeviceNet as an International Standard. IEC member countries have since voted to accept the networking standard IEC 62026, which includes the DeviceNet Specification.

As a fully registered ODVA (Open DeviceNet Vendor Association) Vendor, Vishay BLH has installed the DeviceNet option in two instruments, the LCp-104 and LCp-200. These instruments accommodate any/all DeviceNet based, process weighing or scale applications.

Installation couldn’t be easier. Each LCp-104/200 unit has a DeviceNet terminal connector. Simply attach the DeviceNet cable, load the short EDS (Electronic Data Sheet) file into the system host device, and commence operation. For more information - click here - to email your Regional Sales Manager.
